Easy DIY Thanksgiving Decorations for Your Home
Every year when the holidays roll around, it can be hard to get creative with new and exciting décor, especially if you are hosting family and friends! This Thanksgiving, it is time to put a fun twist on your decorations that will “wow” your guests. And, even better, many of these decorations you can easily and conveniently create all by yourself. What is more fun than some festive DIY to get you in the holiday spirit? Here are some of our favorite DIY decorations that can be enjoyable to create with the family and can be used around your home this Thanksgiving.
- Create your own wreath. You can get creative with what to include on your Thanksgiving wreath – everything from leaves to gourds to fake fruits! A fall-themed wreath is a great statement piece for your front door and a wonderful way to provide a warm welcome to your guests.
- Paint your own “Give Thanks” Sign. Find a nice, flat piece of wood and get your paint on! A painted sign around your home that represents giving gratitude is the perfect piece to inspire you, your family members, and guests during the holiday season. It will serve as a nice reminder to consistently be thankful for what you have!
- Put together a metallic leaf centerpiece. Grab a basket and cover some fake fruits with sheets of copper for a metallic-themed centerpiece. You can surround these shiny fruits with fake, colorful fall leaves to add a spark of color to your Thanksgiving table.
- Place flowers in fall-themed mason jars. Find some fall-themed mason jars and utilize them as small vases for flowers! These can be placed anywhere around your home and are great if you are looking for a way to show off a small bouquet of flowers.
